Though they now live in different villages, the memory of that friendship lingers, beautifully woven into the rug. The wavy, hazy patterns, known as 'leheriya,' are inspired by the fluid movements of the weavers’ hands when they are deeply in sync with the rhythm of their work. This design, reminiscent of the ocean's waves, mirrors the meditative state of the artisans as they weave, drawing on the traditional patterns of Rajasthan.
